NordPass pricing: what you’ll pay and when to upgrade
What you’ll pay: The free plan costs nothing but keeps you signed in on one device at a time. Premium (one person) and Family (six accounts) are sold on 1-year and 2-year plans, and NordPass showed us those prices in a local currency, not USD, with a discount for the first term—so we have not printed them. Business Teams is listed in USD: from $1.79 per user per month on a 2-year plan, sold as a 10-user pack.
One active session on one device at a time, although you can install the apps on as many devices as you like. The plans page lists autosave, autofill, and secure storage, but not Password Health, the Data Breach Scanner, or file attachments.
Premium: unlimited simultaneous sessions for one person. Family: Premium for six accounts. Prices depend on your location, and the 2-year plans we saw were discounted for their first term. Check the amount for your country on the NordPass plans page.
Teams: $2.49 per user per month billed monthly, $1.99 on a 1-year plan, or $1.79 on a 2-year plan, sold as a 10-user pack. NordPass says business payments are charged in USD and displayed prices exclude VAT.

WHEN TO PAY MORE
What triggers an upgrade
- You use a phone and a laptop at the same time. Free allows one active session; Premium removes that limit.
- Several people in your household need their own vault. Family covers six accounts.
- A business needs sharing by group or folder. NordPass lists those on Business (5 users minimum), not Teams.
- A 10-person team on the 1-year Teams plan works out at $238.80 a year before VAT, by our calculation ($1.99 × 10 × 12).
BEFORE YOU PAY
What to check at checkout
- The plan length you are paying for. The discounted price covers the first term shown, such as a 2-year plan. The plans page did not show the renewal price when we checked, so confirm it before paying.
- Currency and VAT. Personal prices are shown for your location, and NordPass says displayed prices exclude VAT.
- The refund window. NordPass’s 30-day money-back guarantee covers the initial purchase only; once a subscription renews it no longer applies, unless local law requires otherwise.
- Automatic renewal. To stop the next charge, cancel auto-renewal in your Nord Account under Billing → Subscriptions. App Store and Google Play purchases are cancelled there instead.
Check the authenticator before you rely on it.
NordPass’s support article lists the Authenticator among Premium features, but the comparison on its plans page marks NordPass Authenticator as not included in Premium or Family. If you need it, confirm with NordPass before buying.
Before you pay
Check the final checkout total; tax and visitor-specific offers can change it. Try autofill and confirm the recovery options before moving your vault.
