Calculator inputs

Values entered into calculators stay in your browser and are not sent to us. The migration checklist stores only the identifiers of checked items in local browser storage so your progress survives a reload.

Analytics

On widernotes.com, we use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate page and product-link measurement. The tag does not run on local or Cloudflare preview addresses. Analytics and advertising storage stay denied, so it does not read or write Analytics or advertising cookies.

Google still receives cookieless measurements. These can include the page URL, browser and device information, screen resolution, and an IP address during transmission. Google says it does not store or log IP addresses from cookieless pings. For product links, we also send short vendor, placement, and destination-type labels. We do not send calculator values, checklist progress, email addresses, or revenue inputs.

Links to other websites

Provider and source links open third-party websites governed by their own privacy policies. If a product link uses affiliate tracking, it will be clearly disclosed beside the link.
